Join us to celebrate the ending of the week and the beginning of a new one with soulful songs and prayers. The Kabbalat Shabbat at Beth Israel is a unique and meaningful experience; it is an uplifting service every Friday evening as our congregants and visitors join in worship and song.

Rosh Chodesh Av
Topic: Destruction & Renewal
One Sunday each month we hold morning minyan services at 9.30 am, followed by a dairy brunch. This is our way to start off the new month with an additional touch of our tradition.
This new initiative comes from our young member’s chapter, in order to make possible for anyone to get involved with Jewish worship and ritual. At the same time, it will allow those reciting Kaddish or observing yahrzeit, to honor their loved ones with an additional mitzvah.

Erev Tisha B’Av service and reflection
The High Holidays begin on Erev Rosh Hashanah, September 29th. We invite those who wish to help in the organization of the services to speak with the rabbi.
As in previous High Holidays, we will be delighted to have Guest Cantor Yanina Grinberg leading the services along with our Rabbi.
